Our take

The revenue bands overlap between roughly $50M and $250M, so size alone won’t decide it. If you are heading past $250M, or already run multiple divisions with complex reporting, Vista’s depth tends to justify the heavier rollout. If you are a specialty trade contractor with meaningful service revenue and want a cloud-hosted system, Spectrum’s job cost and service modules are the place to start. In the overlap, run both demos on your own job cost and WIP data, test service workflows if service matters to you, ask for references at your trade and revenue band, and price the full three-year cost including implementation.
